My name is Shannon. I have a New Zealand certificate in hairdressing, and international IPSN certificate. I have recently bought this salon after working here for over 9 years.
I love making people happy just by changing their hair in any way, whether it’s a new colour or showing them new styling tips, it brings a smile to my face when they are genuinely happy. I look forward to seeing you in the salon sometime.

My name is Milly,
I started hairdressing over 13 years ago
My favourite part of this career has to be the smile on clients faces as they leave the salon looking and feeling like the best version of themselves.
Expertise in my ability to provide an excellent service with the skills and training aquired over many years
Also within the understanding and communication of the consultation.
Working with the science of colour, Mathematics of haircutting,
The art of styling and placement of tones
Helps me weave together each element to create the master piece of your dream hair
Over the years, along side hairdressing
I found myself exploring different aspects of holistic health and wellness. Through movement, breathing, mindfulness and nutrition
I currently teach Yoga outside of part time hairdressing

My interest in personal development and self guided study on topics that provide knowlegdge and confidence to move consciously through the world and better relate to myself and others around me, is ongoing

VICKY
DIRECTOR STYLIST
My name is Vicky, I am the previous owner of bliss. I have been hairdressing for over 16 years and hold a National Certificate in Hairdressing.
My passion is great hair. I will listen to your needs, come up with a personalized plan, create a fantastic look for you and help you maintain it. I am very passionate about my work and attend regular educational courses to ensure I offer the latest techniques, looks and products for my clients.
I’ve attended a course at the Sassoon Academy in London as well as working backstage at New Zealand Fashion Week, amongst many other shows. I have my international hairdressing qualification & Redken international color certification.
I offer a wide range of services including men’s, women’s and children’s cuts, colour, highlights, ombre, blow waves, wedding and ball hair. I look forward to meeting you soon to discuss your hair needs.
Vicky is available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-2.30pm + every second Saturday by appointment only.
Vicky is currently expecting her 4th child in December and will be going on leave in November.

Vicky runner up industry trainer of the year 2018.
Apprentice at Bliss presented two hair looks onstage at NZFW with HITO 2018.
Apprentice at Bliss won a trip at hair expo in Melbourne, with her work in the Gen Next show June 2018.
Bliss Best salon in Birkenhead heritage festival 2018.
AMY
APPRENTICE STYLIST
Amy joins us after previously working in a local salon before her first child Harley and in Feb 23 she welcomed her second son Brooklyn. Amy is now working towards her New Zealand hairdressing qualification and assists the team at Bliss with colour application, blow waves & child haircuts.

Lauren has just started working at bliss, helping us keep the salon clean and tidy as well as making refreshments for clients.
